TOMORROW The Wanch is offering a spectacular double-bill featuring two of the territory's most talked-about bands.

First up during happy hour at around 7pm will be those cool acoustic blues dudes, The Rattlesnakin' Daddies, spicing up some chili-hot tunes from the deep south.

They'll be followed by the Sisters of Sharon at 10pm. These sassy lassies play their own original style of psychedelic grunge and promise ''a fun night with lots of sax appeal.'' Tonight: A new band called The Sons of Bastards will be playing at The Wanch at 10pm; Wayman Chapman will be performing at L.A. Cafe every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until the end of the month, from 9.30pm; Just Say More are at the brand-new club IT, playing top rhythm and blues and soul from 10.30pm and Soul Liberation will be playing their great mix of soul, blues and rock at Hot Shot, from 9.30pm.

AWOL have been building up an even bigger following since their regular Friday slot at Amoeba, catch their classic hard rock from 10pm; There's romantic music at the Fringe Club from the flute, piano and violin trio Venus, at 9pm; Georgie Fame and Guy Barker continue their enduring stint at the Jazz Club at 10pm; Dave Colquhoun will be in Mad Dogs Kowloon during happy hour at 6pm before crossing over to Mad Dogs in Central at 10pm for more acoustic rock and blues.

Tomorrow: The fabulous Soul Commotion at Mad Dogs Central with classic soul and rhythm and blues from 10pm; Splash It About at Portico playing ''covers that nobody else does'' plus the odd original, from 10pm; DJ Mickey Smith's Land of The Hipster at theJazz Club after Georgie Fame and Guy Barker, admission $50 plus happy hour drinks; Hard rock and heavy metal with the Rock Gang at the Amoeba from 10pm.

Sunday: Dave Colquhoun at Mad Dogs Kowloon during happy hour at 6pm.
