Name the tiger competition

Tinnie Chow

The Chinese tiger is not only the world's most ancient tiger species, but unfortunately the most critically endangered. There are only 10 to 30 left in the wild - about 60 remain in captivity.

Save China's Tigers, a British, US and HK-registered charitable group, is undertaking a conservation project with the central government to save the tigers by taking them out of zoos and retraining them in South Africa so they can fend for themselves in the wild.

You can join the naming competition for one of the three cubs (pictured) to be sent to South Africa in September. It's a global effort, with BBC Children's programme Newsround kicking it off yesterday.
