UK expats behind the criticism

I have been following the exchange of letters regarding Cable TV's programme Euro-A-Go-Go. As a Latin-American lover of football, or futbol as we call it, I couldn't care less what sort of programme precedes the game.

I have also realised that most of the criticism comes from the British expatriate community and the view of the local population is not taken into account. What if it is suited to Hong Kong taste? What if the locals enjoy the pre-match show? I am sure Cable TV would not have aired such a programme without taking into account the local mores.

I have lived in enough countries to know that one man's poison is another man's food or however the saying goes. Let it be!
