And now for something out of the ordinary: a chocolate shop combined with a Belgian restaurant. Leonidas Pralines started in Belgium and now has shops around the world. The one at Shop 105, Podium Level, IFC Mall, Central, is the first in Hong Kong. Next door is the Grand Place restaurant, which serves a three-course set menu that changes weekly and costs $128 plus 10 per cent. The a la carte menu includes Flemish-style asparagus ($98), Belgian mussels with white wine, celery and onion ($138 for 500 grams; $268 for a kilo), roasted rack of lamb with thyme sauce ($178), roasted baby pork with white truffle sauce ($138), steamed sole fillet with dill sauce ($138) and Belgian waffles with fresh fruit and ice cream (below, $68). Call 2234 7343 for reservations.
