Directed by Ho Wai-lung, the performance features seven actors from the HKRep. Gifted pianist Phoebus Chan will be the music director.

Cabaret will be performed in Cantonese from tomorrow to July 30. The buffet dinner is from 6.30pm to 8pm, with the show from 8pm to 9.30pm. Tickets are priced at $250, $220 for HKRep Pals and $180 for students. For details, call 3103 5900.

PAINTING EXHIBITION

An exhibition called Studies of Nude organised by Grotto Fine Art, presents 20 recent paintings by leading Hong Kong artists Nancy Chu Woo and Jackson Yu.

Their works explore a once-forbidden subject in classical Chinese art - the female nude.

Woo is famous for sculptured, sensuous nudes charged with glowing colours. Yu's dream-like paintings are characterised by simple curves in ink, which reflect a sense of calm.

The exhibition runs through August 14. Free admission from 11am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
