Alex gets cold feet
When Jordan bought Alex an expensive jacket last week, Alex rewarded her with a romantic kiss in the park.
In this week's episode of Toy Boy, Alex calls Jasmine to tell her that he cannot be in the school play - he is worried that if Jordan finds out she will stop buying him dinners and clothes. To discover how Jasmine responds, tune in to Songbirds on Radio 4 (FM 97.6) tonight at 9.30pm.
Below is the opening part of tonight's episode of Toy Boy for you to read before or while listening to Songbirds.
Alex: Hey Jordan ... what do you think of this jacket?
Jordan: It suits you Alex.
Alex: I like it too ... you can tell it's good quality from the cut and the material. What do you think? Shall I get it?
Jordan: It's up to you.
Alex: Um ... the only thing is ... good quality jackets don't come cheap.
Jordan: How much is it?
Alex: This is a top quality Italian jacket.
Jordan: So how much is it?
Alex: I know it sounds a lot, but for a designer jacket of this quality it's not bad.
Jordan: But ...
Alex: And I want to look good when I'm standing beside a beautiful girl like you Jordan. Okay, I'll make you a promise. If you get me this jacket I'll only ever wear it when I'm with you Jordan ... that's a promise from the bottom of my heart.
(SFX: Shopping mall)
Alex: Thank you for my jacket Jordan ... I really love it. We'll have to go somewhere nice where I can wear it. The only thing is ...
Alex: I haven't got any decent shoes to go with it.
Roger: Hello! We meet again.
Roger: Hi Alex.
Alex: How come we keep bumping into you here?
Roger: I live in Kowloon Tong. So, you two been shopping again? Or, um, have you two just bumped into each other again?
Jordan: I think we'd better leave before someone else sees us.
Alex: What about the shoes?
Jordan: We can go to the shoe shop another time.
Jordan: I'm not sure. Let's talk about it later.
Alex: How about tomorrow after school?
Alex: Look, are we going to get these shoes or not?!
Jordan: Alright Alex, alright, we'll go to the shoe shop tomorrow.
Alex: Why didn't you say that in the first place?
Jordan: Alex, I'm thirsty.
Alex: Okay, let's get a couple of drinks and then go to the park ... I want to say thank you to you in a way that you'll never forget.
Alex: There ... could you feel my love?
Jordan: Oh yes Alex ... yes I could.
Alex: Have you ever kissed a boy before?
Jordan: Yes ... only two ... but neither of them could kiss like you Alex.
Alex: Good ... you're beautiful Jordan, you know that?
Jordan: Oh Alex ... when we kiss I melt inside ... you make me feel like ... ice cream in sunlight.
(SFX: Phone ringing)
Alex: It's me, Alex.
Jasmine: Alex! Hi! How are you feeling?
Jasmine: I'm not surprised ... we didn't leave the bar till after two ... and then ... I don't know what time I got home. (Talking to Candy) No! Go away!
Jasmine: Sorry, I was talking to Candy ... she wanted to speak to you and I told her to go away.
Alex: Listen Jasmine ... there's something I want to ask you.
Jasmine: Sure Alex. Go ahead.
Alex: I've been thinking about the play ... and ...
Jasmine: You're going to be great! I'm going to make you a star! Everyone will want your autograph! You'll be the most famous boy in the whole school! (Laughing. To Candy) No Candy, you cannot practise the kissing scene with Alex! Cheeky girl!
Alex: Jasmine, Jasmine listen to me.
Jasmine: I'm listening.
Alex: Look, I know I said I'd be in the play but things have changed.
Jasmine: What things? Alex, what are you talking about?
