She holds a master's degree in operational research and a bachelor's (honours) degree in statistics and pure mathematics from the University of Lancaster, Britain.

Paul Tchen

Mr Tchen's responsibilities range from developing operating guidelines and providing support to new Peninsula hotels in Tokyo and Shanghai. He will also aim to improve services.

Patricia Rosentreter

Ms Rosentreter is Peninsula Hotels' regional director of communications, overseeing New York, Chicago and Beverly Hills. Before she was at Weber Shandwick Worldwide in New York.

Daniel McDonald

Singapore-based Mr McDonald, who has industry experience in both Singapore and Australia, will supervise all Asian industrial and logistics activities.

Mr Lam will be responsible for the daily operation of its portal and mobile applications businesses within the group. He has more than 23 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries in North America and Greater China, of which more than seven years were with Motorola, where he was vice-president of Asia-Pacific and general manager of the Taiwan PCS division.

Mr Corder will strengthen the department after the hotel's major renovations and opening of new and rejuvenated outlets. He has been with the hotel group for almost eight years.

Stephen Briones

Mr Briones will manage and develop ING's wholesale banking client coverage activities in Thailand. He brings 14 years of investment banking and relationship management experience and joins from Devonshire Capital Group, where he led the origination and execution of transactions in Southeast Asia and India.

Kenny Lau

Head of small-cap company research, non-Japan Asia


Mr Lau, who joins from CLSA, will cover the small-cap sector in Hong Kong and will co-ordinate CSFB's small-cap efforts in the region.

Jin-Yi Lee

Mr Lee joins IBA after working at JP Morgan, BNP Paribas Peregrine and the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. He graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA.

Brian Negley

Mr Negley, the executive director of retail measurement services, will take on responsibility for the management of the company's key retail clients in Greater China.

Wayne Shum

Mr Shum will co-ordinate regional institutional marketing activities with Franklin Templeton offices in Seoul, Singapore and India. He has more than 17 years of investment and actuarial experience.

Grace Ng

Based in Hong Kong, Ms Ng will cover the economies of Greater China. Most recently, she was at Goldman Sachs, although she started her sell-side career with JP Morgan.
