'I congratulate Sing Tao on their victory. This is also a victory for the freedom of the press in Hong Kong. But it is a victory, too, for the rule of law which is fundamental to all freedoms in Hong Kong.

The ruling shows the ICAC acted wrongly in raiding newspapers' offices and seems to confirm my impression that they gave little or no consideration to the freedom of the press issue when they carried out the raids'
