Blusher is an essential item in anyone's make-up bag. A light dusting can perk up your complexion and give you a healthy glow. Just remember to choose a colour that matches your skin tone. If you are pale, pick pinks, or if you are more tanned, choose something with a tint of orange.
Paul & Joe ($171)
We chose a pink shade with hints of glitter, which gave a dramatic look and was long-lasting.
Anna Sui ($180)
Blusher is easier to apply with a pompom. This brand comes in lovely packaging and has a sweet fragrance, with a long-lasting colour. However, fragranced products are no good for sensitive skin.
Love Clover Pompom Cheeks by Soigne ($120)
The packaging is cute enough but the pompom doesn't work as well as the Anna Sui one. You might need to use a brush instead. The blusher itself is a good colour and has a fine texture.
Shu Uemura ($155)
Shu Uemura simply makes some of the best make-up products. The texture of this blush is very smooth and the colour is natural and long lasting. Definitely worth paying a bit extra for.
Blazing Star ($19)
This duo colour blush is a really good bargain, since gel-based blush lasts much longer than any powder-based product. However, you have to apply a lot because the colour is not very intense.
