Singer and actress Karen Mok Man-wai, who turned 34 in June, is undoubtedly a beauty, but 'over-aged?' I don't think so. And besides, there is much more to Mok than her age.
Mok was recently voted fourth on a list of 'Ten Over-aged Unmarried Beauties' on a mainland website. According to CitySeen's sources, she was shocked to hear the news.
Having studied in Italy, Mok is multilingual, speaking fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Italian and French.
Mok is pursuing charity work at the moment and it seems marriage is not her number one priority. An animal lover, she is often the voice for the Society for the Protection of Animals and was recently appointed as China Bear Rescue Ambassador for the Animals Asia Foundation.
Yesterday, Mok, who is a Unicef ambassador for poverty alleviation, flew to Ningxia for six days, along with singer Gigi Leung Wing-kay and actress/singer Charlie Yeung Choi-nei, to visit children in remote villages. While Mok says 'many of my friends are happily getting married', it seems to us she is just as happy helping others.
