BELL'S Scotch whiskies will stage the Highland Games in Hong Kong on Sunday at Stanley Fort.

     The first recorded Highland Games in Scotland took place in the year 1000.

    Events at the Stanley Fort will include dancing, piping and the traditional Scottish games of tug-of-war, tossing the caber and throwing the weight.

    The Hong Kong Saint Andrew's Society has organised the event, during which 12 pipe bands will compete in the Bell's Pipe Band Championships.

  The games will be held from 9 am to 5.30 pm. The public is welcome and parking is available.
