Voting members of the Hong Kong Jockey Club have elected Victor Hui Chun-fui to become the club's newest steward. Hui replaces Larry Yung Chi-kin, who decided not to stand for re-election.

The three other elected stewards - Robert Kwok, Paul Cheng Ming-fun, and Donald Li Kwok-tung - were all returned for a three-year term.

At this week's annual general meeting of the Club, the Board also re-elected Ronald Arculli and John Chan as chairman and deputy chairman respectively.

Hui (left) has made a substantial contribution to sports development in Hong Kong over the past 30 years. He is chairman of the Hong Kong Sports Development Board, chairman of Elite Sports Committee and vice president of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. Hui has been a full member of the Club since 1982 and a voting member since 1988.
