Like legs? Look no further than the Intercontinental Hotel tonight, where 22 contestants will strut under spotlights in a bid to win the coveted Elite Model Look Competition 2004. They will compete wearing sportswear, casual wear, swimsuits, executive suits and evening gowns. And, like former Elite winners Rosemary Vandenbroucke and Vannesa Yeung, the victor will be catapulted to supermodel status.

Pictured are the three finalists for the contest's Joy & Peace Miss Perfect Legs award - Iris Chan, Mary Kwan and Amanda Siew. They were chosen by fellow contestants. What makes a pair of perfect legs? Shoe shop Joy & Peace vice-chairman Tang Keung-lam told CitySeen: 'If a model is five foot eight [173cm] or more, it will be nearly perfect if her legs are 42 or 43 inches [107 or 109cm] in length. Of course, the shape of the calves, ankles and feet are equally important.'

The overall winner will contest the International Elite Model Look Finals in Shanghai in November.
