The 25-year-old lifter from Shandong province surprised herself and her rivals after lifting a world record 182.5kg in the clean and jerk, which followed 122.5kg in the snatch, for a 305kg total. 'I was surprised when I lifted 182.5. It's unbelievable I did that. I thought to myself, 'What have I done, is this possible?' I had to produce that lift, I just had to. I had prepared myself well for this competition. I was going to beat anybody who stood in my way. I was going to beat everybody one by one. Come get me if you can, I said to myself. I reserved some energy towards my last lift.'
