DOOM-METAL CONCERT

Australian doom-metal band The Eternal will make their Hong Kong debut on Saturday at the Warehouse.

The Eternal, previously known as Crystal Darkness, is one of the most active bands playing doom-metal - a sub-genre of heavy metal - which originated in the late 1980s.

The Melbourne-based band - which blends melodic guitars, keyboards and violins in its music - will be supported by local doom-metal band Bereavement.

Electronic duo My Little Airport and guitar pop group 22 Cats will perform their original tunes at the PANIC (2/F, 226 Sai Yeung Choi Street South, Mongkok) on Sunday.

My Little Airport comprise Lam Pang and Nicole Au, who have just released their oddly-titled album, The OK Thing to do on Sunday Afternoon is to Toddle in the Zoo.

22 Cats consist of Chan Kwon-kit, Chan Lam-por and Tin Lap-for who combine catchy guitar pop with experimental programming. They recently released their debut album, All the Good People will Shine.

The mini-concert will start at 4.30pm. Admission is free.
