WOMEN are stealing into men's wardrobes for this season's dandy look and not to be outdone, menswear designers are taking their cue from a humble female accessory - the silk scarf. Brilliant blues, greens, reds and gold prevail as the peacock male struts in luxurious silk-printed shirts, vests and jackets inspired by designer scarves.

Patterns range from whimsical animals - with horses the favourite - to artistic scenes and exotic tropical blooms. From gorgeously coloured shirts, to equally brilliant vests, braces, bow ties and quilted blouson jackets, silk is this season's fabric of society.
