FedEx seeks team-playing problem solvers

Individuals with excellent communication and listening skills, who are good team players, customer-focused and good at solving problems may want to consider some challenging roles.

Four openings have arisen at Federal Express - a new senior marketing analyst/marketing analyst and a replacement senior revenue management analyst/revenue management analyst, a replacement account executive and a replacement senior engineer/engineer.

Responsible for providing technical solutions to business problems, application development, technical design/review and project management, the senior marketing analyst/marketing analyst would be expected to provide timely and detailed information support, said Luiz Tung, managing director, Hong Kong and Macau.

The senior revenue management analyst/revenue management analyst will handle the development, execution and monitoring of revenue and profitability tactics and strategies for FedEx in Asia-Pacific.

'Well-equipped with quantitative analytical skills, [the candidate] should provide recommendation on revenue and profitability tactics for the company,' Mr Tung said.

The account executive will identify and develop clientele, generate sales and launch product programmes.

The senior engineer/engineer would participate in 'projects to design, plan and enhance the FedEx flight network', Mr Tung said.
