It's fashionable to add a classical twist to Canto-pop nowadays. HKPO x Sandy x Anthony Live is a collection of live recordings from the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra's annual Canto-pop concerts earlier this year. It features Sandy Lam Yik-lin and Anthony Lun Wing-leung - two of the city's most celebrated pop stars.

If you are a big fan of Lam and Lun, this album is like a gift from God. Comprising Canto-pop classics such as Piano Man and Do You Know I Am Waiting For You, the album is also an auditory feast for all music lovers as the songs have been re-interpreted in a wide variety of musical styles such as classical and jazz.

Complemented by the orchestra's string arrangements, Lam's powerful and emotional voice makes these Canto-pop songs sound as classy as the works of Beethoven. Lun - whose voice is as sweet as ever- also shares the limelight with his touching rendition of My Heart Is Still Cold, a song he wrote for late Canto-pop diva Anita Mui Yim-fong.
