Ocean beauty

Kiehl's has launched a new  series based on abyssine,  a  substance harvested from the deep recesses  of the Pacific Ocean.  Its Abyssine line includes a sunscreen ($405) which moisturises as it protects. It is  light enough for  everyday use and can be  worn under make-up. Also featured in the series is a cream for the face and neck and  an eye cream ($290).

Skin softeners

Lush has  introduced two  new  skin-softening body lotions.  Our favourite is Karma Kream which is a  light, gently fragranced cream that is easily absorbed. Ginger Lotion has a spicy  floral ginger fragrance and  contains rose and geranium essential oils. Both are reasonably priced at $199 for a big tub.
