New adventure for Peter Pan

The Faust International Theatre will present a new version of the much-loved classic Peter Pan next year. The show will be performed at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from January 27 to February 5.

It will combine author JMBarrie's humour and imagination with contemporary special effects. British new-age group Adiemus will provide the music. Peter Pan follows the success of Faust's The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Oliver!.

'Peter Pan is a production that brings adults and children together and creates a real sense of spectacle,' said Matthew Gregory, director of Faust and creator of the production.

'People love a grand, swashbuckling story filled with pirates, crocodiles, flying children, mermaids, fairies and magic.'

Tickets ($160-$688) go on sale on November 15 at all HK Ticketing outlets.
