The notoriously late Leung Kwok-hung surprised everyone by turning up on time at the premiere of Motorcycle Diaries, the Che Guevara bio-pic, at the Palace IFC on Wednesday night. But Long Hair, who says he seldom goes to the movies because he can't afford it, didn't see the film. Legco commitments prevented him from staying for the duration, but he said he wanted to show his support for the film.

'I've read the book. I hope that young people can come and see this film to learn about Che Guevara. I think it's a good introduction to the concept of revolution,' he said, before heading back to the Legislative Council. 'There aren't that many films on Che Guevara or revolution. I hope there will be more films like this in the future.'
