Hayes can bank on Fuji Sunrise

David Hayes and Gerald Mosse may be feeling down after the defeat of Elegant Fashion in the Cox Plate but the dynamic duo should be in the limelight once again tomorrow where Fuji Sunrise looks a great chance to notch his third consecutive win this season.

The progressive stayer makes plenty of appeal for banker in the final leg of the TT on the back of two impressive victories this month.

He is ideally drawn in gate three and, given he performed admirably on his only start around the city course, looks destined to continue his winning streak.

Chinook has been holding his form well this term, having managed to hit the frame on both starts this season. The step up in trip looks suitable and he should hit the frame once again.

One of the more consistent horses in the lineup is Brown Beauty, who clearly had excuses last time. He should have won over the course-and-distance last season and gets his chance to set the record straight.

The return to the Valley looks a bonus for Mystic Force, another galloper who will appreciate the move up in distance.

Great Sensation has had the benefit of one run this term and is worthy of adding to the short list.

The best option for banker in the opening leg is Mastery, who has hit the frame in five of eight starts over the Valley mile, including three wins.

Douglas Whyte has drawn perfectly in gate two and he must be given a strong chance of giving Paul O'Sullivan his first local winner based on some impressive trackwork.

Fortune Smiles also has a decent record over the course-and-distance and although he is stepping out for the first time this season, he showed enough potential last season to warrant respect.

Kaiser's Prize indicated on his most recent run over the Sha Tin mile he is not far away from winning and with a little luck from a wide alley should figure in the finish.

The drop in grade and step up in trip are positives for Celestial Steel. He has worked well since joining Tony Cruz and is capable of marked improvement. Master Gigolo won well on the all-weather last time round and merits respect while Dendranthema Love has fallen to a competitive mark.

The recent trial of Oriental was good enough to suggest he is the best option for banker in the middle-pin.

He has had the benefit of a couple of runs this term already and now looks ready to prove that he is competitive.

O'Sullivan has Made In Hongkong working extremely well and although his only win came on the all-weather, he merits plenty of respect.

Shining Gem won well over the Valley mile earlier this term and looks capable of filling a minor place.

Mr President has won twice this term over the course-and-distance and, given his recent form, cannot be ignored.

John Size's Hekyll'N'Jyde looks the one to beat in the third event. He proved consistent last season and his only win last term came over this trip at the city course.

Fair Win has shown above average potential in his work and must be kept safe.

Majin Buu will get the run of the race and has place claims along with Flying Sprinter, who will need a touch of luck from the outside draw.
