Stewards yesterday adjourned for a second time their inquiry into the riding of Present Treasure at Happy Valley last Wednesday night.

After hearing further evidence from trainer Caspar Fownes and jockey Craig Williams, who tendered documentation relating to the stress fracture injury to his left shoulder, the inquiry was adjourned to 2pm tomorrow.

And jockey Michael Rodd has notified the club of his intention to appeal against last Saturday's two meeting ban and $30,000 fine for a careless riding charge. He will continue to ride under a stay of proceedings until that appeal is heard.
