Aon Asia is looking to add a new financial consultant to its Hong Kong team.

The company is one of Asia's leading providers of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, human capital and management consulting.

Aon's new financial consultant was expected to 'provide tailor-made financial solutions to meet clients' needs,' said Angela Leung, a human resources officer at Aon Asia's Hong Kong office.

'The concept of financial planning has become one of the major approaches in the marketplace to enhancing peoples' awareness of lifestyle planning,' Ms Leung said.

The successful applicant is expected to provide consultation services to help clients identify their needs and objectives, help build long-term relationships with clients through excellent customer service, and help develop the client base through referrals.

Ms Leung said Aon was offering a career for professionals that was highly rewarding.

Those applying for the post should be 'energetic, proactive, people-oriented and interested in the financial market'. They should also have good presentation and interpersonal skills.

Banking-related experience or exposure to the life insurance market was also expected. Aon offers promising career prospects, with opportunities for promotion to senior consultant and, eventually, branch manager positions.
