Bike champion to show off his skills

A world champion will display his mountain bike skills in Hong Kong tomorrow.

Four-time World Trial Bike champion Petr Kraus will conduct a demonstration at Lai Chi Kok Park's Skateboard Arena at 2pm.

Kraus, from the Czech Republic, is a former world record holder for the trial-bike 'high jump'.

Apart from demonstrating a series of advanced technical and physical skills, Kraus will show off his mastery of the trial bike by riding over a series of obstacles.

Kraus, 28, is based in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

According to the team's website, Kraus' nickname is 'Mr Body Czech', and he is 'half-animal, half-

Red Bull.'

'Every new bike I get must sleep in my bed the first night,' Kraus once said.

Experienced local riders will also perform in a one-of-a-kind show. In addition, members of the audience will have a chance to take part in the extravaganza.
