lingnan signs exchange pact with xinjiang
Lingnan University has signed an agreement with Xinjiang University under which four students from the university will spend one semester at Lingnan next February while three Lingnan students will go on exchange there around the same period.
baptist U backs paralympics bid
Baptist University has donated $50,000 to the Hong Kong Sports Association for the Physically Disabled, which sponsored athletes competing in this year's Paralympics. The money was raised from sales of the book Breaking Through the Cocoon, written by a former HKBU student, which recounts the stories of seven physically handicapped athletes who have gone on to win awards at international competitions.
Hku and citibank launch joint course
The University of Hong Kong and Citibank have launched a joint banking course for HKU economics and business administration students, the first to be taught by experienced banking professionals who will offer insights into modern banking operations.

hkust graduate wins engineering award
An MPhil graduate in civil engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Wan Chi-ki, has beaten 137 contestants to win the Young Engineer's Award at the 3rd China-Japan-Korea Joint Symposium on Optimisation of Structural and Mechanical Systems, in Kanazawa, Japan.
