Carnival fun for whole family

Children can play in a giant sandpit or find their way through a maze made from recycled paper in the heart of Central next Sunday.

The carnival, PlayStreet 2004, aims to raise funds for the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) Charitable Fund and the Playright Children's Play Association (Playright).

With the theme 'Transmitted Play Ideas Across Generations', PlayStreet - which is free to the public - is designed for all ages. There will be 20 game booths in four play zones at the event.

Established in 2001, the HKICPA Charitable Fund aims to help the needy by providing financial support to social service organisations.

Playright is a non-profit organisation set up in 1987. It offers quality play opportunities to underprivileged children. Every year, more than 140,000 people benefit from its services.
