by Anna Blundy

Headline $105

This thriller about war correspondents has been a surprise hit in Hong Kong, finding a bigger readership in the SAR than anywhere else in the world, according to the publisher. Hard-as-nails reporter Faith Zanetti is posted to Jerusalem - and she loves it. It's hot, complicated, full of action and her friends can always be found slouched at the bar of the American Colony hotel. When she finds the naked corpse of her best friend, Shiv, hanging from the doorframe of her hotel room, Zanetti resolves to find out who is responsible. The story whizzes along, beginning with suspected murder and ending, many deaths later, with a highly inventive suicide. Blundy worked for 10 years as a reporter. Her father, also a war correspondent, was killed by a sniper in El Salvador, so there is an edge of terrible truth throughout.
