Overseas music scholarship
The Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong (CASH) is inviting Hong Kong residents to apply for a one-year CASH Music Scholarship for Overseas Students 2005/06 in the field of music composition.
The maximum value of the scholarship is $165,000 including tuition fees, living expenses and return air fares. Applicants should be under 30 years of age at the time the scholarship commences.
Application forms can be downloaded from the CASH website at www.cash.org.hk. The closing date for applications is March 31 and the results will be released in May.
Established in 1994, CASH aims to promote higher standards of local music composition, to sponsor a wide range of musical activities in Hong Kong and to encourage and develop songwriting talents.
