Audience discussion at the Arts Centre after a movie is usually a tedious affair, but tonight there is an intriguing lineup of guests. The screening of film documentary Not Only Long Hair; Not Only Ernesto Che Guevara at 8pm will be followed by a debate between Centaline Property Agency boss Sze Wing-ching and Leung Kwok-hung, Mr Long Hair himself.

The protester-turned-legislator has progressed considerably. Not content with merely wearing Che T-shirts, he has staged a play about his hero and has now released a film documentary, for which he literally followed in the footsteps of the Marxist revolutionary late last year through visits to Cuba, Bolivia and Argentina, where Guevara was born.

As for tonight, just imagine: an icon of the propertied class squaring off with an heir to Marx and Guevara. But I suspect they might agree on more than they disagree. Both like the media spotlight and support universal suffrage. Rumour has it Mr Sze is one of Hong Kong's biggest donors to Greenpeace. I hope they don't both end up quoting Karl Marx tonight.
