If you've been to Chek Lap Kok recently, you'll have seen some holiday-goers with snowboards, some with bikini tops, others with just a desperate get-me-outta-here look. Lines are long and people are grouchy, but the Airport Authority has organised some holiday fun to soothe those travelling nerves.

With the help of RTHK and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, 200 classical musicians will perform Christmas carols at 6.30pm tomorrow in the largest event of its kind at the airport.

That's not all. A Christmas lighting display that takes up one whole window facade on L8 (one level above check-in) has been put up. And in a city borne on shopping, SkyMart is offering their shoppers a slew of freebies too long to list. Just because you're not going away for the holidays doesn't mean you can't enjoy a trip to the airport.
