It's not always true that gentlemen prefer long hair: Singer Leon Lai Ming let slip that he asked for a girl with a short Afro to play opposite him in a new cellphone television commercial.

'Preferably, her name should be Dumb-bell too,' he joked. Of course, in the end, they casted last year's Shanghai Tang model, a long-haired beauty. 'If a woman can look beautiful without all that hair flicking and stuff, then she is truly gorgeous. That's why I requested the 'fro'.'

During his television interview, he revealed he really hated, what he calls, 'ball hair'. 'You know at all those society functions, women put their hair up in a bun and hairspray it so it's like a helmet ... what's the point? Let me tell you ladies, in the eyes of a man, that is not sexy. How can I even run my fingers through her hair?'
