SCMP Reporter

The Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care  is holding its 13th annual fund-raising event, Hike for Hospice, in the Tai Lam country park area on Sunday.

Teams aim to finish a 12km or 16km route and to raise $20,000 per team, or $5,000 per member.

The traditional 'curry lunch' will be served after the hike in the beautiful country park, when trophies will be handed out to the top fund-raising group of teams, top fund-raising team and fastest team.

Each participant will also receive a  'Hike for Hospice 2005' T-shirt and a certificate of completion.

A free shuttle bus will run from Central to Tai Tong.
