I HAVE no hesitation whatsoever in nominating Prince Igor (Nap) as the best bet of the night in the fourth event at Happy Valley this evening.

  Everyone could see that he was most unlucky not to beat Cheguei last time out at Sha Tin though I firmly believe the stewards' were correct leaving the placings unaltered.

  Prince Igor was denied a clear run by Muster Mark otherwise he may have scored by around a length. He is a course and distance winner at tonight's 1,800 metres and must be fancied to reverse the form with Cheguei.

  Prince Igor should also be that much fitter as he was making his reappearance last time. But keep the improving Cheguei safe in quinella bets.

    My best quinella bet is in the second. I like Clean Them Up as a banker with Graceful Win. Have three units on this leg and then a one-unit saver quinella on Clean Them Up with Fortune Winner.
