Singer Leo Ku Kui-kei (left) and Raymond Guo, chief executive of 3GTV, launch an alliance conceived to produce television channels.

The Hong Kong-based mobile multimedia content provider yesterday said it had joined New Media Group, East Asia Satellite Television, Hong Kong Broadband Network and Hong Kong Arts Centre to produce two channels, Sky and Spot.

Mr Guo said all three local 3G mobile operators had subscribed to the two channels. Sky has been designed exclusively for mainland users while Spot will provide China-related information to Hong Kong mobile users.
