PolyU launches range of courses

HONG KONG POLYTECHNIC University will launch 11 new programmes in engineering, social work and health care, as well as language and design.

The Faculty of Engineering will offer MSc and postgraduate diploma programmes in mechanical engineering (air/noise pollution management); mechanical engineering (product development and analysis) and in electrical engineering (railway systems).

Other new PolyU programmes include two master's degrees in social work (one on generic practice and the other on family-centred practice and family therapy), a Master of Design in Design Development, and a master's in translating and interpreting. The online education arm of PolyU, HKCyberU will offer a Master of Management Science and Engineering (in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences); and a master, graduate diploma and graduate certificate of security management (in collaboration with Edith Cowan University, in Perth, Australia).
