PC users warned of Andy Lau virus
Pop singer Andy Lau Tak-wah is not just getting his songs stuck in people's heads these days, he is also worming his way into their computers.
Hackers have apparently been using the idol's photo as a sly cover for a computer virus, the China Daily reported on Monday. Beijing software security company Rising intercepted the virus, dubbed Backdoor. Delf.s, this week.
The virus shows up as a file titled 'My Photos.exe', and when activated, a picture of Lau singing in a frumpy white beret indicates that the computer is already attacked.
Hackers can then control the virus-infected computer and delete any documents on it.
