Juno Mak works hard at his clean image
They say 'cleanliness is next to godliness', but CitySeen is starting to worry that Juno Mak Chun-lung is perhaps a little too focused on hygiene.
'No matter what new thing it is that I buy, like furniture, clothes, shoes or socks, I always wash it or wipe it down once before I use it,' the pop star revealed in an interview with DJ and columnist Andes Yu.
Mak said there was a time when he showered eight times a day, but he has since cut that down to three. He also admitted owning more than 50 pairs of underpants.
He explained: 'I don't like to give my clothes to someone else to wash, so I do all my laundry myself. But I found that sometimes work gets busy and I start to run out of underwear, so I would buy 20 or 30 of them at once.'
While CitySeen too advocates clean underwear, some may think that Mak might be crossing a line in emulating Jack Nicholson's character in the 1997 film As Good As It Gets. At least no one will be asking him to clean up his image.
