Earlier this week there were a number that impressed in the 11 trials on Tuesday including Classic Mile contender Special King Prawn. He is far more relaxed in his work now and the trial was clearly evidence of that fact. Brett Prebble had him settled just behind the leading brigade and never really asked him for much of an effort, but he still went to the line with plenty in hand.

The recent work of Lui's Super Fantasy has been very good, and that was confirmed with a positive effort in his turf trial earlier this week. He looks fit and well and came through this heat with flying colours.

His recent form has been impressive and he leaves the impression he will prove competitive when he next appears.

Manfred Man Ka-leung has a decent prospect with unraced Gold Medal Winner. He finished third in his qualifying trial earlier this week, and clearly has plenty of scope for improvement.

The son of Spinning World has been working well in a series of gallops this month and, remembering this is his first trial, there are enough positive signs to suggest he can get off the mark early in his career.

Similarly, Alex Wong Siu-tan's Lucky Money looks promising, onsidering the manner in which he performed in his first trial. He still has plenty to learn but went to the line in a positive manner, after showing good early speed. He has plenty of room for improvement, not only in terms of fitness but experience a swell, but is one to keep safe when he steps out for his debut.

On a misty Thursday morning at Sha Tin, Good Profit worked well for Gerald Mosse when galloping over 800 metres on the riverside. He appears to have picked up the quality of his work now and is starting to show a little more zest. He looks in tip-top shape and must be given plenty of respect when he next competes.
