For Maggie Q, using feather boas to celebrate the Year of the Rooster is okay, but don't try to wrap a fox stole around her shoulders. The model/actress, who is also a vegetarian, admits to CitySeen that she makes it very hard for stylists because she refuses to wear fur. And we're not just talking about full-length fur coats and wraps reminiscent of dead dogs - she refuses to touch anything with even a dabble of fuzziness.

At a shoot recently, stylists pleaded for Maggie to wear a pair of shoes with fur trim, saying there was nothing else. 'Well, I'm sorry but you'll just have to go and get another pair,' said the model. 'I'll wait. I'm not asking for rose petals at my feet or a long red carpet, I'm just asking you not to put a dead animal on my body.'

As fur is extremely popular this year, CitySeen asked Maggie Q how she gets around the fur problem. 'I'm wearing a lot of Versace,' she said, 'because they don't have any fur in their recent collection and no one suffered for it.' In the coming months, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals plans to set up an office in Hong Kong, and has asked Maggie Q to be spokeswoman.
