Celebrities and socialites turned out in force for the premiere of the Lunar New Year blockbuster Seoul Raiders.

The film's stars, Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Richie Jen Hsien-chi and Shu Qi walked into the Convention Foyer of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on a white carpet, and greeted the 300-odd guests in black-and-white outfits, accompanied by director Jingle Ma Cho-sing.

Guests, including Pansy Ho Chiu-king, Wyman Wong Wai-man, Hilary Tsui Ho-yin, Kam Kwok-leung, Walter Hau Wai-tak and Steve Wong Ka-keung, sipped champagne and lounged on white sofas while admiring the latest Dior spring/summer collection, themed Detective, set against a backdrop of sparkling white curtains.

Costumes worn by the three stars in the film were auctioned to raise funds for the End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation.

Veteran local actor Patrick Tse Yin bought Leung's black jacket for $22,000 - and then returned it to him as a gift. Jen and Shu's outfits were bought by Sophia Kao and Helen Rong, respectively.

Before the screening, attended by 1,000 people, a dazzling Denise Ho Wan-sze, supported by a live band, rocked the audience with the film's theme song. Her Dior-sponsored performance raised $110,000 for the charity.
