Whatever trashy romance novels may say about tall dark strangers, CitySeen thinks everybody has a different idea of what makes somebody attractive.

So when we heard photographer Norm Yip was launching a book of photographs called The Asian Male, we were quick to get his thoughts on the Asian male body. 'This is going to be a generalisation, but the Asian male's proportions tend to be leaner than Caucasians',' Yip said.

'It is a little bit different in terms of the body structure, and I didn't actually notice the difference until I moved here. The skin tends to be softer, and there's less body hair.'

The Asian Male is a collection of 40 images and will be launched tonight at a party in Sheung Wan. He is already planning book No2.
