Radio boss stars in mystery
THIS is a bit much. A person can't take an extended vacation in this town without the rumour mill cranking into gear and then working overtime.
So we have the case of hard-working Commercial Radio general manager Winnie Yu, who apparently has cleared the papers on her desk and gone on a well-deserved holiday.
But the naughty whispers about Broadcasting Drive, we are told, are that the popular station boss - who will be away for three months - might not be coming back at all.
Why, there's even the name of a replacement for Yu being bandied about - Pearl Wong, who is currently publicity director at Commercial Radio.
While at the helm, Yu has done a lot to raise the profile of the station. So at Keeping Posted we don't believe there is any substance to the rumours at all.
But then again, we can't claim to be always right.
