In a collection of stories that define people by their libidos, it's hard to care about the characters or those they have sex with. Some stories are supposed to be funny, but the humour dissipates the sexual tension. A woman plays naughty games - most of which involve spanking - with 'Lord X', her boss who is 50 years her senior. A woman at a business meeting is told in ridiculously formal language to have sex with the negotiators to seal a deal. The stories are written by and for women, and all sex is between adults, with the woman usually in control. Although the cover promises 'unashamed, wildly entertaining stories' and 'forbidden lusts', the content is rather tame. The more risque scenes are daydream sequences.
