Free tickets to film feast

Winnie Yeung

With the Hong Kong International Film Festival opening today, CitySeen is sure some of you haven't managed to get tickets. Fortunately, organisers have saved some for us, and CitySeen, in association with the SCMP Film Club, is happy to give them away.

Ten tickets to two shows are up for grabs: the first is The Hidden Blade by The Twilight Samurai's director Yoji Yamada. The screening is at 9.45 tonight at the Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. The second is Centre Stage, the 1992 film directed by Stanley Kwan Kam-pang. It stars Maggie Cheung Man-yuk (pictured above in the film), who was awarded a Silver Berlin Bear for her performance as the 1930s Shanghainese actress Ruan Lingyu. The screening of a new digitally restored version is on March 24 at 9pm at the Cultural Centre.

To get yourself a pair of tickets, e-mail [email protected] and tell us in 20 words or less what you most want to see at this year's festival and why. Be sure to include your name, phone number and which film you want to see. Act quickly!
