Kiss-and-tell king on the cheap
(In)famous former disc jockey Hung Chiu-fung (below) returned to Hong Kong recently to host a weekday TV talk show about sex on The Interactive Channel (www.tictv.com). The 46-year-old had been under the radar for some time after his relationship with girlfriend Theresa Po Wing-kam, the late socialite and billionaire, turned very, very ugly (think porn discs and thongs that he showed to the press).
CitySeen heard the show would be very much like the American daytime show hosted by Dr Phil - a psychiatrist who gives unique advice to audiences regarding emotional problems.
The channel's creator, Robert Chua Wah-peng, praised Hung for being an outstanding host. But a little bird told CitySeen that Hung is on a not-quite-commanding salary - we heard that he would be paid roughly one-fiftieth of what Albert Cheng King-hon earned.
With the examples he set while handling his own personal problems (i.e. all the ugly kiss-and-tells), CitySeen is curious as to what advice Hung will give his audience.
