Healing hearts

Melody Li Mok-ching (centre) and Ashley Wong Ching-hang, both aged four, were among 100 children who joined the Playright Children's Play Association yesterday in Sha Tin to make puppets and cards for children who lost their parents in the Boxing Day tsunami in Indonesia.

The group sent 8,000 packages of games and toys to the hard-hit province of Aceh last month. It hopes to send another 2,500 packages with the puppets and cards to other parts of Indonesia this month.

The group believes playing games can help children express their feelings and release their grief.
