Entry level is quite an apt designation for the new Sony Ericsson K300i camera phone. It is a basic and less expensive phone than other handsets in Sony Ericsson's product portfolio. Sporting an attractive $1,380 price tag, the K300i offers a range of multimedia functions that were once only available in high-end models. It delivers wallpaper animation to associate a caller with an image and the capacity to set a user's favourite songs as MP3 ring tones, all features favoured by young mobile subscribers. The triple-band GSM phone weighs 85 grams and measures 100x45x19.5mm. It also features a 1.6-inch colour screen, 10 megabytes of memory, support for three-dimensional Java games, and video recording, speaker phone, e-mail and instant messaging functions.
