Hong Kong's hot-shot adventure racer Tsang Siu-keung, nicknamed 'Stone', shows the fearless downhill form that helped him win yesterday's leg of the PowerBar Action Sprint adventure race series at Tung Chung on Lantau Island. Tsang, 26, saw off race favourites including Mark Williams, who praised his young conqueror. 'Stone deserved the win as he passed me absolutely flying down the mountain like there was no tomorrow and stayed in front in the Wong Lung Hang river,' Williams said. Tsang led in a field of 297 who tackled the 8.8km course. 'It was a great feeling passing Mark Williams,' Tsang said after finishing in one hour, one minute and 57 seconds. Williams claimed second overall in the individual category in 1:04:54. Tim McCosker claimed third overall, 48 seconds behind, and finished with blood dripping down the side of his face after being clipped by sharp tree branches on the downhill mountain section. Japan's Hisayo Takeda dominated the women's individual field to win in a time of 1:29:16, from Yeung Mei-lun (1:31:02) and Lam Lai-po (1:35:03).
