In the spotlight

Michael Miu Kiu-wai was one of TVB's Five Tigers in the 1980s (the other four were Andy Lau Tak-wah, Ken Tong Chun-yip, Felix Wong Yat-wah and Tony Leung Chiu-wai). He is best known for his roles in The Legend of the Condor Heroes and Chor Lau Heung.

Miu left the entertainment scene about 15 years ago to start an optical business. His company boasts many retail outlets in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and the mainland.

After a long absence, he returns to television with The Academy.
